Common Online Money Making Scams Exposed

Let’s face, we have all been exposed to online scams before. The email from the banker in some small town in Africa wanting your bank account number to wire you $50000 or the Fast Making Money Systems that require $50 and then you get your friends and family to sign up only no one ever really makes any money.

Most times, these things look and sound too good to be true and that’s because 99.9% of the time they are. Here we break down the most common money making scams out there that seem legit.

MLM Sites - Multi Level Marketing Sites
A few years back my older brother came home from a so called “job interview” and was talking up a storm about making tons of money fast. It was for some telecommunications and he was trying to get my parents to buy into the business. All he had to do was get 5 of his friends or family to buy into the business at $500 and then he would get a percentage of what they sold to their friends and family and so on.

Truth is, MLM sites (or i I like to call them Pyramid Schemes 2.0) have been around for a while and once the internet was born, a new breeding ground for these so called businesses was born. Most of these sites tend to have a similar look and feel, a photo of some creep standing next to an expensive car like a Ferrari or laying on a beach in some tropical resort. This is done to instill a feeling of want and desire to live a better life. After scrolling past a bunch of testimonials and hyped up marketing propaganda, there is usually some sort of initiation fee or re-occurring charge.

When first getting into the online money making business, I signed up for one of these sites. All I received were a bunch of useless E-books and a pitch to get my friends and family to sign up. Some common things to take notice of is why do these sites look so bad from a design standpoint? If they are really making so much money, why not spend a little bit on design?

Seriously, if you come across an offer to join a business or start you own online, be wary of paying any sort of application fee, or premium membership fee.

Cash Gifting
Cash gifting, also know as Ponzi Schemes have been around for a while as well but really started to explode on the internet over the past few years is another form of a Pyramid Scheme built around tax evasion that promises users ridiculously high returns. I have seen numerous Youtube videos that feature people claiming to make thousands of dollars a month with Cash Gifting but the strange thing is, these people always seem to be set in an environment that looks like my Grandmas House. Seriously, if you were making so much money, than why are you filming your Youtube Video in a trailer park?

Basically, some genius creates a system like “Gigantic Profit System” and gets people to sign up for some sort of membership free. He then brainwashes people to believe that the “System” really works , sometimes by showing pictures of fancy cars and big houses. Most people are suckers and fall for the pitch and signup.

Most times, the next step involves recruiting other people to join the “System” and that is why you see so many of the same Youtube videos of people claiming to be self made billionaires with the “System” and that is were the Pyramid Scheme comes in. Mainly the top level people are the ones successful and most people on the bottom level give up out of frustration.

I can’t emphasize enough that there are no real “Get Rich Quick” systems out there. Most people get fooled by these scams because the idea of being successful with little or no work appeals to everyone but don’t let them fool you!

Sites to Avoid
I won’t even bother linking these as they don’t deserve the backlink

Not all MLM systems are bad, its just the people who represent them are bad, real bad salesmen who cant even market themselves so they boast about a company

anybody who brags about a company too much is pretty much the scammer. the scammers make these companies look bad and so on and so forth

the key to multi-level-marketing businesses is “marketing” which everyone seems to neglect to teach

Nice post. So far, I haven’t dipped my finger in online MLM schemes, but I have tried a couple of PPCs (bux . to and others), which totally wasted my time, effort and electricity! Good thing I was able to stop early.
